Technology

The most fri.tech. Competition brake pads feature a dual retention system with adhesive bonding and innovative mechanics. The mechanics consist of a metal mesh welded directly to the backing plate to ensure very high resistance to extreme stresses between the pad compound and the backing plate.

fri.tech. Competition FAQs

Which brake discs work well with fri.tech competition brake pads?

With so many different brake disc manufacturers, we cannot recommend a specific brand. fri.tech brake pads generally work with standard brake discs. Very good results have been achieved with Girodisc brake discs.
We generally advise against aftermarket brake discs with a large number of slots and holes. This can drastically increase brake pad wear.

Which fri.tech competition brake pads are suitable if I mainly drive on the road and occasionally on the Nürburgring Nordschleife?

For this application, we recommend the new R40 Compound.
